BACKGROUND. Amaltheia grew up on the outskirts of Coerthas, her life growing up was fairly normal; Around turning 6, her village was attacked, whether by dragons or raiders is still up to debate. Escaping with her mother and brother, they flee to ishgard - her mother then remarrying to one of the Temple Knights, Ser Eauraux. The rest of amas youth went by without any issues; She was the top of her class, did ballet and learned how to play the piano - on the side Eauraux taught her self defense.Due to her high grades and varying interests, she caught the eyes of Sharlayan scholars and was allowed to continue her studies there - eventually being marked as an archon in botany and astronomy, only to return to Ishgard after finishing her studies, finding Sharlayan stifling when it came to her real passions.As she got older, she used any excuse she could to join adventurers on their journeys or working odd jobs. Her real adventure doesn't begin until the Warrior of Light makes their way to Ishgard.
